Biography

Henos Siem Tesfom

Henos Siem Tesfom was born on August 2, 2004, in San Jose, California, to his parents, Tesfom Gebregiorgis Tesfamicael and Eden Basilios Ghebremariam. Shortly after his second birthday, the family moved to Hillsboro, Oregon, a suburb of Portland.

In his early years, he attended preschool at Zion Lutheran Church and Preschool in Hillsboro, followed by Jackson Elementary School for his kindergarten and elementary education, and Evergreen Middle School. In 2022, Henos graduated from Glencoe High School.

From a young age through his teenage years, Henos explored various activities including soccer, basketball, and taekwondo - in which he earned a black belt. As he entered high school, his interests began shifting toward computers and video games.

Henos had a strong sense of independence and determination. He began working at a grocery store and, through discipline and hard work, saved enough to purchase his first car at the age of 18. Later in high school, his growing passion for cars led him to work at a tire shop, where he quickly learned and excelled as a tire, brake, and alignment technician.

After graduating, Henos enrolled at Portland State University with an interest in Mechanical Engineering. Despite his academic pursuits, his heart remained in the automotive world. He continued working at the tire shop, earning the respect of his peers and management for his strong work ethic, quick learning, and diverse skills.

At age 20, Henos bought his second car a used sports car he dreamed of modifying and perfecting. He devoted countless hours after work and school, as well as much of his savings, to improving the car he loved. It brought him joy and pride to see his hard work come to life.

Tragically, on October 21, 2024, Henos passed away at the young age of 20 in a single-car accident while doing what he loved most, driving the car he had poured his heart, time, and passion into.

He is survived by his parents, brother, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many close friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
